A group of us from the Nashville Meetup group headed out Friday afternoon for WordCamp Birmingham. We had to come back a little early on Sunday so we didn’t get the full experience. However, I have to say I walked away with all I was expecting and more! There seemed to be about 200+ on Saturday at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Center. With three tracks covering all things WordPress you will have to see the schedule for what you missed out on.
Saturday night we had a great after party in downtown Birmingham at Pale Eddies Pour House. We had the whole upstairs and just enough beer to get us all loosened up, what blast!
If you own a website that is on WordPress and you’ve never attended a WordCamp you really should. It’s not another social networking conference, it’s an all day (or 2 day) conference focused on helping you learn how to use your site as it was ment to be used. No matter what level you are, beginner, intermediate or advanced I can guarantee you will hear something new.
